Each request to the Tork governance API counts as one call. This includes policy checks, PII detection scans, and audit log submissions. SDK-only usage on the Free plan doesn't count against API limits.
When you reach your plan's API call limit, further requests will be blocked until your next billing cycle or until you upgrade to a higher tier. You'll receive email notifications at 80% and 90% usage to help you plan ahead. We're working on usage-based overage billing for customers who need burst capacity - contact sales@tork.network if this is important to your use case.
Yes! Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
