Last updated: February 8, 2026

JCorp Australia Pty Ltd, trading as Tork, is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Standards We Follow

We aim to conform to the following accessibility standards and guidelines:

  • WCAG 2.1 Level AA

Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). We target Level AA conformance across our website and dashboard.

  • Section 508 (US)

We aim to meet the requirements of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, as applicable to information and communication technology used by US federal agencies and their contractors.

  • EN 301 549 (EU)

European standard for accessibility requirements for ICT products and services, as referenced by the European Accessibility Act (Directive 2019/882).

  • Equality Act 2010 (UK)

We aim to meet our obligations under the UK Equality Act 2010, ensuring our digital services do not discriminate against users with disabilities.

  • Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Australia)

We aim to comply with the Australian DDA 1992, ensuring our website and services are accessible to people with disabilities.

Measures We Take

Tork takes the following measures to ensure accessibility:

  • Semantic HTML: We use proper heading hierarchy, ARIA landmarks, and semantic elements throughout our website and dashboard.
  • Keyboard Navigation: All interactive elements are accessible via keyboard, with visible focus indicators.
  • Color Contrast: We aim for a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text, in accordance with WCAG 2.1 AA requirements.
  • Alternative Text: Images include descriptive alt text. Decorative images are marked appropriately.
  • Responsive Design: Our website is designed to work across different screen sizes and zoom levels (up to 200%).
  • Form Labels: All form inputs have associated labels for screen reader compatibility.
  • Dark/Light Mode: Our website supports both dark and light themes, which can be toggled via the theme switcher.

API & Documentation

Our API is accessed programmatically and is not subject to visual accessibility requirements. However:

  • • API documentation pages aim to meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards
  • • Code examples use sufficient contrast and are structured for screen reader compatibility
  • • Error messages from the API are designed to be clear and descriptive

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, we acknowledge the following areas where we are actively working to improve:

  • • Some dashboard charts and data visualizations may not be fully accessible to screen readers. We are working on providing text-based alternatives.
  • • Some third-party embedded content may not fully conform to our accessibility standards.
  • • Older pages may have color contrast ratios that fall below WCAG 2.1 AA requirements. We are progressively auditing and updating these pages.
